5×5 with Eleonora: Spirituality and Graffiti
Eleonora represents ClickDealer’s Amsterdam team of Affiliate Managers and she’s here to share the secrets to her inexhaustable energy.
1. Describe yourself in three words.
Curious, optimistic, lazy (the kind of lazy Bill Gates described).
2. What do you love most about your position?
I like the melting pot of cultures and discovering new approches to work and life.
I learn new things every day from my affiliates – things about their life, their cultures, their working philosophy, and thanks to them I’m becoming a more experienced affiliate manager and a better person.
I like to celebrate the small and big victories with my partners — to give enthusiasm and positivity — and it fulfills me to help them out in the moments of need.
My affiliates are my friends first of all, and then collaborators.
Their success is my success, and it makes me enjoy my job much more!
3. What is your favorite pastime?
I’ve been living abroad for 5 years, first in China, then in the Netherlands, originally from Italy. I enjoy learning new things about other countries, expecially regarding different cuisine from all over the world.
I’m also a wine enthusiast. Tasted some great wines in my life, and my sommelier certification can attest to that.
I’m an avid reader and I absolutely devour movies and TV series! I watch one movie or episode of a TV series a day on average, always glad to talk about cinema for hours and hours. With some affiliates I actually do it :)
I like to take long walks in the nature, isolated from everything. Just me and the silence of the wilderness. I like to meditate and study oriental religions and philosophies.
What I miss the most from Italy (100% serious here) is the oustanding early Septemeber evening sunset. It makes me feel at peace with myself, deeply melancholic and happy at the same time.
4. What makes an ideal vacation for you?
I have a degree in Oriental Studies and I’ve always been fascinated by Asia, Southeast in particular, so my ideal vacation would be something adventurous in that area.
An important part of my ideal vacation is to experience first hand the real nature of the place I’m visiting – the smell of the air and the taste of the food. I need to get in contact with the local population, discover and be part of different cultures and societies.
Next destinations: Indonesia, Peru, and Philippines.

Here are some random facts about Eleonora’s nomadic life:
– I used to play volleyball semi-professionally, even participated in a championship.
– I’m a major Juventus fan.
– For about a year I used to do graffiti and stencils on the walls of my hometown. Very simple stuff, but I laugh when people wonder who made that stencil, and never realise it was me.

– I hate shopping, except for shoes. I can be out all day visiting dozens of footwear shops looking for the right pair.
– I never dyed my hair once in my life.
